Extreme Tom, has been in communication w/ Steve Jepsen, and has volunteered to make sure his lap top works so he can communicate w/ us!!! I propose a donation site to make sure he can do so!!! If Tom will accept donations, I will start w/ a $100 donation for a new laptop!!! & or repair fees!!! Peace, Wayne If on a major auction...this would be a ..."30 second deal"!!!

I think it is a real nice idea. If we can get about $500-$600 in donations, we can get Steve a nice Laptop, and yes I am aware that there are laptops that are listed for $400, but being in this industry for a loooong time, I know that they usually are priced that way due to some sort of "savings" on components (hard drive, processor, memory, smaller LCD and on and on). If this goes forward, I will purchase the laptop, configure it and make sure Steve gets it.

We are good for that too. Ill need to do the PayPal from home....later tonight...great idea...WiN7 preloaded, max memory, HDMI outputs...all on a Sony with the titanium shell rna me for my wife $700. Very light and had extended battery as well, it rated as the second best LT out there in PC computing.. for its size. I could get the model number when home as well.... She loves it Steve would too. Also one can order Office 2010 Academic Version Online Amazon for $200 for 3 licenses, no gimmicks and you get the install disk, not just a code. Check it out. This is the full blown Office 2010 Professional with all components.

Yep, good point Wiz, he will need Office on the system, thats what he was using and is comfortable (yep, I've had a few calls from steve in the past about issues with one computer or another). I was thinking Sony or Toshiba. I want to try to get atleast a 15.6 inch monitor, Steve is going to need a big screen to see well. Gary email me the info on that system, it sounds perfect. Eddy, I received the Donation, thanks, and for everyone else interested please use my email address [email protected] for paypal. When we reach the amount needed, I assume at this point $700 for the Sony and $200 for the Office, I will post here. Thanks! Tom

We have stated to receive donations via Paypal. I have been sitting and thinking of what to do if we don't reach the necessary amount needed to purchase the laptop, laptop bag and Office Suite. My wife had a good idea, if we fail to reach the necessary amount, I will contact Lorraine Jepsen and send the total to her to contribute to living expenses, or whatever they may need. Tom
