Where is the accountability with various clubs and their auctions?
I can remember when clubs were putting together "lists" of people who would bid, but not pay and or claim thir lots.

It is troubling to see clubs run an auction, collect and cash money and not return emails or have the seeds sent out in a timely fashion.

Folks... Deb has had a major bad run of illness and injurys starting the nite of the 10th of Dec. It subsided some about a week ago.

I got an email from her on Sunday the 9th saying the following and I quote "life won't lay off, working tonight on stuffing bubbles and writing letters to put in them. My new year resolution is to get the auction mostly all dealt with by the 10th."

I understand the irritation and dont want to upset anyone any more than already done. Just an FYI...I have not received my seeds yet either.

Scott, the only other person that I know of is Janie smith and I think she is helping. no idea of who else is in that club. I seriously thought about taking a road trip to find her before she finally emailed me back.. was ready to call the local cops to do a welfare check also. (was looking up the number just hrs before I got her first email.

I'm more concerned about Deb than anything else after reading this. You all know she posts alot. She hasn't been on the boards at all lately so far as I can tell; to be that ill that you can't get online is a scary thought. I will email her.

Jimmy, Im just wondering why if she could send gmasudu a email Sunday the 9th (4 days ago) explaining her reason why she couldn't send out the seeds to him at this time , then why not send out a bp.com post while she was on the computer at the same time explaining the situation she is in?
It would have been alot more credit worthy of her to do that rather then just disappear and then not answer any emails or posts after growers money was collected and cashed, but instead make folks wonder where, and when their seeds will arrive to them, or if they even have been confirmed by a email still a month later.

I have literally finally woken up, and life is almost in the bag.

Thank you for everyone's concern.

I was answering Sue, Brooks; I am finally off the meds and have to catch up with life. Very sorry but this is the first time I've been on BP in quite some time. I very much missed chat and everything else about this place but another two minutes can be impossible sometimes. Hope you are never in that situation.

I have gotten other emails and forwards, yes.

To all that were a part of the auction, except for two, all seeds are here and I want nothing more than for them to get out to whom they now belong.

The club had to skip the Dec reorg meeting, it is now in February. I hope to step aside and have others take over so such a backup never happens again. We hit the lull but are growing again.

If it was a death in the family or the big C, it'd be easier to relate to than the past month I've had. Onwards and upwards.

Look at the bright side Okie, atleast you illness waited untill just hours after your auction(s) was completed, So you atleast had that part out of the way first and your monies collected....

No, I don't it was mysterious or godly timing, Brooks. I wish you could have walked in my shoes for most of this past month.

Stress definitely did not help.

I know it's well past the 10th, and. Surfacing with stamps in hand. I remember yours Mousey, I am hoping I find mailing address in the debris here to tuck yours off. If anyone reads this update and is wondering; drop an email to [email protected] ... Most of first night is in bubble as I am typing, about to finish off any loose ends on second night.
