Growers-

The Ailts-Landry Benchmark Study is getting a makeover. We have some great improvements in mind which include, for the first time ever, setting benchmarks for fruit >1500lbs.

If you grew a pumpkin over 1000lbs this year, I'd like to add your growth data to the study. The more data we have, the more valid these benchmarks become.

The process has been made simple...I'll email you an easy-to-complete excel file that asks for 10-day interval Circ and OTT stats.

If you are willing to contribute your numbers to this study, please send an email to [email protected]

Thanks for your help...with a nice influx of data, I should be able to present it at Niagara. 1500lbers encouraged!

Joe,
I suggest you try to get Ken to post this spreadsheet right here on the front page for a little while. Perhaps make it a link on the club website. Save you tons of emails.

Thanks for spearheading this very very worthwhile project.

Joe thanks for taking up the challenge in producing the next generation Benchmarks.

Growers can also follow the links I have provided on the GVGO web site.

There's been a nice influx of data so far. Thank you to the growers who have taken the time to share their numbers.

We need more though. Any official fruit 1000lbs and up qualifies. and the data set need not be complete. Even if its just a couple circumference measurements on 10 day intervals, I'll take it.

This study is becoming the most comprehensive collection of growth data measurements in existence. Please consider contributing.
