I'm asking if there are any clubs in the state of Wyoming. I have family there that might start growing and might need a club.

I dont't know is there is a club, but there is a grower. I will try to find out his name from Jim West. We have a club in Montana that he could certainly join with. There is no fee at this time. Big Sky Pumpkin Growers. I have grandchildren in Cody, WY and go there several times a year. Be glad to help. [email protected]

Ron Hoffman in Riverton, Wyoming is the state record holder, 1011 lbs, and he belongs to the RMGVG. Don't think there is a club there yet but there are several other growers and they do have a weigh-off. His BP name is 'Ron H'

It really depends on what part of the state that they will be living in. There is the Utah club if on the west side. Wyoming is a big state.

Kenny, The RMGVG has added three new Wyoming Growers this year, fantastic as we continue to grow BIG. Please have your grower friend send me an email or send him mine and I can send him out a newsletter and correspondance, we would love to add more growers. Currently our grower base is over 75 and representing more and more growers within the Zone4 and 5 region. Thank You WiZ

Wiz My sister is getting married and will be moving to Wyoming. I'd like to get the family involved in some type of growing. Possibly to get a family based hobby for both my sister and the new husband. They have some land to plant on and I think they'll be okay with that. the only thing they have issues with is the actual weather condidtions. I will be in touch.

Hi Kenny, I'm vacationing in Nebr & just saw this post. The weather in Pinedale will be colder than where I'm at...they will probably need more frost protection than what I use...maybe a greenhouse or something. I'll have to check into it, but I think Pinedale might only get 2 months of frost free weather. Have them email me at [email protected] If they decide to grow, they might want to get ahold of Brian Christensen in Rexburg ID. Probably a very similar climate.
