I was googling and searching but decided to just post. If I have a bag from 2009 is it any good? 2010? Don't know how long the fungi are good for...ie.. to use in my 2011 patch? Thanks.

Most of the Mycorrhizal products I've seen have been stamped with a 2 year shelf life. What brand is it?

Hi Dave, Dr. Michael Amaranthus has told me the BioGrow Endo Plus 4 species myco is good for two years and then loses about 10% a year after that. It depends a lot on how it was stored. If it is dry and cool, that is the best. He has tested product after several years that has 90% potency when stored under optimum conditions. Temperatures of 120 degrees F. or more degrade the material much faster.
Thanks Joel Holland

Is there a date stamped on the bag when the bag gets closed? if not how would one know how long it is on the shelf of the seller!?

Mycorrhiz is not harmed by the cold, the spores protect the Mycorrhiza. Avoid long exposure to direct sunlight and dont get it wet.
