Southwestern NY, Massachusetts and RI to be hardest hit from latest forecast. Sustained 35 mph winds and 1-2 feet of snow. Power may go out and roads may be impassable. Stay tuned to local weather service and stay up to date.

We dodged the bullet here in NW Vt--only about 6 inches blown around by winds 30-40 mph Highs in the teens. Forecast is for temps in the 40's New Year's day.
