Glenn has a thread here http://www.bigpumpkins.com/msgboard/ViewThread.asp?b=26&p=373264 for a 1725 Harp seed. The proceeds of this seed sale will go to Christy and Nick's son Blaine for a college fund.
Some of you may not want, need, or cannot afford this seed. I corresponded with Christy yesterday regarding donations for Blaine's college fund, this is part of the email she sent me;
"People who wanted to give Blaine $$ would make the check out to "Blaine J. Harp" and send it to:
Charter One Bank 2200 Wales Ave. NW Massillon, OH 44646
and the ladies at the bank would put it straight into his college saver account (it is the only account in their system in his name)."
Christy and Nick have given a lot to this big pumpkin growing thing and I think this would be a great way to say thank you to them and to help defray some of the cost of Blaines college fund. Some of you cannot afford a seed or just don't need one, now you can still donate to Blaine's college fund. I know times are tight and it's Christmas and all but every little bit will help. Thank all of you so much for your consideration.
