if ya go to vegas? everyone will be in the casinos and no one at the seminar.
id much rather be at a dude ranch. riding horses, sleeping under the stars. eating lots of beans, drinking beer and, well you get it.this would be a real gas. --lol

Vegas would be great...then more West Coasters would be able to go.

$99 return airfare Vancouver to Vegas and a 2 hour flight.

$699 return airfare Vancouver to Toronto and 5 1/2 hour flight.

Yep...that's the way it is for us who live in South Alaska!
Besides, it tales all day to fly to Buffalo, NY. The year I went, it was frickin' COLD! Everything had ice on it...including the railings at the Falls. Personally, I'd rather go to Palm Springs.

PS.....Sorry...have NO interest in going to Vegas....if you want to gamble.....thereZ casinos in Niagara too.....I will enjoy eating Buffalo WingZ at the Saloon and taking a visit to some new friendZ Dennis as well, cant wait to taste that BBQ Dennis......and also to hear about how Chris Stevens grew that 1810 bringing back his growing techniqueZ to share with my fellow RMGVG growers.......March cannot come soon enough.

lol... Yeah, every once in a while I bring up my Vegas idea, but I can see why it's in Niagara. If you plotted the location of each grower and drew out the greatest concentration of growers, the epicenter would be Niagara. For most attendees, it's a drive in the car and not a flight that they need to consider.

If Vegas ever happened, it might be because this hobby got so big that we needed to hold a western conference, i.e., both locations would happen. Maybe it would be like the current California meeting, but greatly expanded. Meanwhile, Maui is also an excellent idea. Forget the orange jackets and bring out the orange swimsuits! ;-)
