Hey everyone, the brand new Mid-Atlantic Giant Pumpkin Growers, based on the east coast, is now accepting new members at $15 per year. We've put together a very nice group of seeds as part of our membership package, so if you are interested in joining please contact us at [email protected]. Glen, you don't have to be a memeber of Facebook to view the page, you can look at the pics, read updates, etc.. without a FB account. I believe you do have to be a member to leave comments or send messages however.
The Mid-Atlantic Giant Pumpkin Growers club now has an email address where the club can be contacted:
[email protected]
Things are just getting rolling with the new club but there will be more to come.

A couple more reminders:
All membership seed distribution packages will contain the following in addition to several other great seeds:
MAGPG seed of the year is the 1193.7 Snyder (pollinator 1421.5 Stelts plant grew 1418 Snyder). We pay $250.00 to the member with the largest official weight from this seed.
MAGPG ORANGE seed of the year is the 921.5 Rosa. We pay $150.00 to the largest Howard Dill award winning pumpkin from this seed. In the event that no 921.5 wins a HD award then the prize will default to the largest overall (won't be a problem).
Final reminder: The first 50 memberships will each have a 1418 Snyder and a 923 Gerhardt seed in their packages. This is now the only way to obtain a 923 outside of raffle and auction.
Please contact us for more information at: [email protected]

Ahh, man! I'm all the way over in Minnesota...
Maybe I could just make a donation for couple of the 921.5 Rosa's :) (I have a lot of confidence in selfed seeds)

Meathead, you can join and recieve the 921.5 Rosa in the membership package. And if you're one of the first 50 you will also get the 923 Gerhardt that grew the 921.5. They seem to be going pretty fast so don't wait too long. The membership seed packages will be mailed out in January.
Also if you grow the 921.5 Rosa, being it is one of the MAGPG's "Seeds of the Year", you could win the $150 prize.
