This is a Pâtisson (Cucurbita pepo var. patisoniana)
Early harvested very tasty! Full Grown an excellent ornamental pumpkin with a long shelf life.

Very cool. I try growing everywhere I can and will have much more room next year. I might have to look into those.

They look like Patty Pan squash to me.

You're right Kevin, that is what they are. We eat them when they are not much bigger than a quarter. You can even harvest them the morning the flower opens, put stuffing in the blossoms and fry or grill them. Damn, now I can't wait for summer to come back!

Yeah, my first thought was patty pan but they look so big, maybe they got some AG genetics in them!
So, the are a patty pan, variety Patisson, but a lot larger than the patty pan I usually grow.
I was looking a those long neck spotted white and green gourds/squash things in that next photo. They are different looking.
There's a whole world of squashes out there!

Those green and white long neck things are Speckled Swan gourds. Not at all good for eating, just decorating.
