I managed a 200 pounder from commercially available seeds this year after being inspired on seeing large pumpkins in Ohio in '09. I would like to do better in '11 and I was wondering whether anyone could put me in touch with someone from the USA who would be willing to supply me with a few seeds or give me a contact.

Hey Mike lots of clubs offer great seed packages to their membership, just for joining. Join a club & get involved with them. They will help you with info, growing techniques, seed selection, bulk product purchases & anything else you need to reach your goals. Many growers belong to 2 or more clubs. We personally belong to 6, I think. LOL.

Thanks for the replies. I hope now that I will be able to obtain a few seeds that I have confidence in. I will be in Washington DC for a week from the 21 Jan 2010 - would it be possible to pick up any seeds in the vicinity?
