What is the heaviest weight grown on a flag-pattern? I want to try it in my greenhouse in 2011 because it is only 15 feet wide and 60 feet long.

I have limited width as well in the WiZardnator patch so I curved out the sides still growing down the middle using a modified wiZard spider pattern....you can do this as well......something to think about jantje..... like back to back pitch forkZ.....

1002 here my best on a flag with 20 ft secondaries on one side. I have one patch spot that is always flag pattern. Seems to do well.Does not matter which side the pumpkin is on.

Keep in mind the roots will spread out from the stump in all directions. I would plant in the center of the space and train the vines to fill the space as needed
