Last week I added a yard of pure compost to my small patch.
I took it home from the local nursery in 20 bags that I filled myself. I made 5 trips with the car.
Today I rented a Honda tiller from HD. I spent about 2 hours tilling the compost into to garden. I then raked it all out smooth. I came out great. I also built myself a compost bin and I have begun to fill it with shredded maple leaves, egg shells, coffee grinds, banana peels,and left over salad. I had a wonderful day today playing in the dirt. The patch is now ready for the long winter.
I sure hope that Charles Lieber is reading this.

That is really unfortunate.

The 1610 had Perfect shape and great color.

It was awesome accomplishment on Charlie's patch, even if there are not a lot of seeds.

Just for the record, I have consulted many of the greatest minds on the planet. They all agree that 1610 will be a dud.
