i'm interested in the following seeds 1161 rodonis, 1566 rodonis, 1725 harp, 1421 stelts, 1725 and 1604 sweet. Going to be 69 and would like to reach 1000 lb before it's too late.

You might get some of those through auction... they are going to be some very sought after seeds this winter for the coming season.
There are many seeds out there that should be able to get you to the 1k mark... and there should be some grower clubs in your area that could help you out, both with seeds and advice.

One thing I do is look up "poor man's" sleeper seeds.
Think of it like this. Manyof the top fruit also got expert care.
Say somebody has a rough year, gets hit by a hail storm etc... Yet also does a controlled pollenation, of 1161 x self.
Or somebody grew an 1725 Harp, and x selfed it, OR crossed it with another choice pumpkin seed.
Even if they made a lot of crosses on the same plant, and kept every fruit set, thus limiting absolute size, they still have seeds with an awesome genetic punch.
Take Don Langevin, and his site:
http://www.giantpumpkin.com/seeds.php
From what I understand he does not push his plants like a competitive grower anymore, and mostly raises them for making good genetic crosses, and lhis love to take part in growing.
These seeds he sells look like they have magnificent genetics.
Take his 1725 Harp x self for example. That is 1385 Jutras x self for 2 generations.
That should give a consistent chance at hitting well over 1000 pounds.
Don also has seeds from previous years. 1600+ stock x self, and crosses too.
Heck, for that matter there are sooo many great crosses sitting in cardboard boxes that will never get planted.
There are a lot of seeds from 1100-1400 pumpkins that are not famous, but can be a great shot at going well over 1000.
You could also ask on the seed exchange part of the board if anyone has some they have tested themselves, and feel really have a sure shot of going over 1000, with the right care that is.
Lots of folks will send them to you for a SASBE, they would just be happy to see some of their seeds get tested by someone.
