check out my photos on Sweet1 diary of my seeds I collected. what are the white tips on some? I'm guessing under developed? it was a younger looking pumpkin in color and smoothness,or is it frost. need some input. thanks

I can't see your pictures yet, but it sounds like the seed coats aren't fully formed. I've had that happen when a pumpkin stops growing early and doesn't reach full maturity. Often times those seeds will still grow if there has been enough development of the embryo inside the seed. They may not have full-sized cotyledons but with a little TLC they will still into a normal plant, and the genetics won't be affected at all.

They will still GROW into a normal plant. Stupid fingers, lol.
