It has been a ruff month month for sure. I can trace back my love of growing things from my parents. Remembering when I was a kid sticking my hands in the mud of the garden to help put in the onions and tomatoes with mom and dad.

However it is times like this that make thing pefectly clear what is really important in life, that is love of family.

My mom, bless her heart. Even when she was not feeling all that great, she and dad still came to the OV weight off to be part of the fun.

About a month ago she was diagnosted with, Giant cell aterial artheritis (something that deals with a vein in the temple, that if not treated can lead to a stroke), then two weeks later she was told that she has Graves Disease, then again a couple of weeks she was told that she has something wrong with the bottom of her heart.

I just got a call from my dad, mom was complaining about her leg swelling with some pain. He rushed her to the hospital where they determined that she has three blood clots in her leg and a couple in her lung.

So I am asking before you go to sleep tonight if you all could say a little prayer for my mom.

Just wanted to say thanks to all. Mom is still in the hospital having tests done. Plus they are in the process of trying to break up the clots. At this point just taking one day at a time.
