This year has seen an explosion in (Team this or that) next to growers names. So I ask if you have a team next to your name to post a few words on this thread about it. Manure Man said that if we had a team out here in Redmond we would call it (Team Expendables), in which case I get to be Randy Couture. Lol

We figure anyone that spends 10 grand a season and 20 hours a week growing pumpkins only to load them on trailers and drive 6 hours to win $30 and a ribbon has to be a major lunatic!!! hahaha

BTW, Randy can't act worth a crap. Even know I cant stand Rampage I was much more impressed with him as Mr T.

I'm very proud to say all but 2 members of TL achieved pb's this year. The 2 that didn't......well, hard to beat Canadian and world records.
BTW, the team started when BP Mailey, Pumpkin Sheppard and myself went on a shopping trip south of the border to bring back $2000 of pumpkin growing supplies including product from the hydroponic store. Can you believe my vehical didnt get searched! hahahaha.
TL just snowballed from there and we have 8 members to date including one international member. New members are welcome and although we consider ourselves an extreme faction of the GVGO being from Ontario is not a prerequisite.
Cost to join: adding "Team Lunatic" to your handle on BP and local forums.

It's been a great year of Lunacy!! Spending many hours of time and a whack of money on this hobby is much more enjoyable when you have a great bunch of Lunatics to share the ride with!! Cheering on your fellow teammates as they all strive for personal bests adds a little extra to an already great hobby!! And as our Prez said...the majority of the team achieved new pb's....what a great season!!
