Just throwing this question out there. I have set up 2 new patches this fall. I have a my current patch which was 2/3 in use this year. I was thinking of expanding the area for each plant and using my patch I used this year plus the other third I didn't use and letting the two new patches cover crop for a year. Is this what you guys would do? Or would you go to the one new patch next year and start the rotation next year instead of the waiting one more year? I do plan on rotating just not this coming year.

Depends on the soil conditions of the new patches but I would probably use one of the new ones.
