I plan on killing off the grass that I grew over this summer. I recall reading about using Roundup in the fall and then tilling, etc. in the spring. I plan on taking soil samples prior to using Roundup. Any thoughts on killing grass and weeds in patch?

What I did last year was I rototilled the living grass right into the ground and let it rot over winter I never had any grass issues in the spring, I just built a new patch much larger and I did the same thing.
