the proudest moment one could ever experience is to stand in front of that crowd of fellow growers and put on that orange jacket. i know my son ron ,joe jutras and laryy checkon as excellent examples of growers who accepted the jacket and title along with all the responsibilities of a world champion. i think chris will be just as honorable. pap

with out question, Christy was also a fantastic example of a world champion, you couldn't have asked for a better person to represent growing a world record pumpkin like she has.
I know with out question Chris will do the same, I myself have seen alot of world records over my short years of growing pumpkins and I gotta say, every world champion had carried the title in a very special but different way , and everyone of them that grew that world record was well deserving of it.
