It was a fantastic weekend for our weigh off and giant pumpkin regatta here in Vermont this past Saturday and Sunday.

We helped raise over $20,000 for charity and had a lot of fun doing it.

Eager volunteers vying to help out with the heavy stuff nearly ran me over several times both days as I tried to help, too. Next year I will have to move faster.

We are an enthusiastic group of about 65 growers, and growing larger every year.

My thanks to our leaders and other members who made this weekend a great one.

It was a perfect weekend for a weigh-off and regatta!!Thanks to all who helped make it an enjoyable weekend. Thanks Steve for the dancing entertainment at the regatta!!

Laurel, things were slow in the water for a while at the beginning, and I was a little chilly in my chest waders.

I'll watch some Chippendale videos and Saturday Night Fever repeatedly this winter and put on a better show next regatta.
