Hey Chad, I grew your 1544.5 this year and promised to let you know the outcome. Very cold wet summer here. Still the 1544 was my best fruit. It is now the 1031 Raunig - 17 percent heavy. You can see the results at the Bauman farms Oregon GPC page. Email me and I can send you a couple pics. I sold it for another 325 bucks after the contest. It was crossed with the 985 werner. Would love to grow it again next year. [email protected] Hope to hear from you

They went for about 30 cents a pound at the weigh off I went to so that's seem an okay price to sell it for.

Does the price go up by a certain amount if it is bigger or particularly good looking?
Lets say it is over 1300?
Or just over in the 800-1100 range, but happens to be very nicely shaped with a really good orange color, like a Dill Award winner?
I would think the price could be at least 2x the normal, or something like that. That’s just a guess though, I’ve never bought or sold a 1000 pounds “pretty” pumpkin. ;-/
