Unofficially for 2010 GPC sites, 54 pumkins have weighed in at over 1400 pounds with all data not in yet. Prior to 2010 the number was 97 fruit listed on AGCC. (if I can count) When inputs get made from non GPC sites it probably has a chance to surpass all years up to now. Seems like every fair and weigh-off east of the Cascades and Sierras set records.
This has been an awesome year at the scales.
Congrats to all the biggies and the wanna be biggies that help make this happen every fall.
