Change my mind on what seed to grow, then when I decide what I want to grow, I have second thoughts, then I change my mind again. (sounds like I`m nuts, I know)

We all lose it, just look at the political posts in the Winter and take note of how they drop off starting in April.

Patch prep and then hunting. My wife says I have to many hobbies. Bagpipes, scuba diving, hunting, working out. And pumpkin growing. During the off season I like to do reaserch into the seeds I wanna plant. I ask myself questions like. Will this seed do well in my soil and will this seed do well in our NewEngland weather. Plenty of planning and also the worm farm. Always feeding and maintaining it. I got a ton of quality castings from it. And it allows me to do something in the winter that will help out during the growing season. Plenty of things that can be done. Like getting coffee grounds. Lol!

Cut trees until there is too much snow, mess with wood after that. Sleep and shovel snow.

Club seed swaps, put together auction seed lots, plan my own season, send seeds out to auction winners and seed purchasers. You get the picture. Giant pumpkins is a year-round thing for me. I DO get in the occasional rabbit hunt and a week of deer hunting in between.

Spend too much time deciding on short lists, too much BS on chat and not enough $ for what we really NEED for the next season... [honey, I really DO *need* that new Kuboda...]

I fish all year long for Trout and Smallmouth. Don't catch as many fish by any means in the deep Winter, but it is my favorite time of the year to be out since I have the river to myself. I also bought an old banjo and intend on taking some lessons this winter.

I like boom boom's idea, make cookies, peaceful quiet winters, without killing each other this winter would be nice. It gets brutal out here in the Winter months...LOL.

When I'm not working or blowing snow, I try to improve highway safety. I try to put as many deer in my freezer as I can so they don't end up wrecking someone's car.

Iowegian, do what Ron white says: slow the bullet down to 55 miles an hour, put some headlights and a little horn on it, the deer will actually jump in front of the bullet!

I am with you Sweet 1 ice fishing all winter long. I will start with smelts in early December and move on to togue, salmon, brook trout, whitefish, and muskie after Jan 1st. The winters are long up here in the county, so we have to make the best of it.

Look at growing videos a lot, including "Lords of the Gourd,"eat a lot; try out new beers; watch football; go through every seed in my collection(again and again); add to my collection through auctions, trading, giveaways; look for ways to improve my clay soil through cover crops; chat on BP.com; sleep a lot; read a lot of old magazines; throw a lot of old magazines out...

I'M BORED ALREADY!!!
