I think we are all in awe of what this seed is producing.
Back in 2007 when Bill grew this pumpkin, who'd a thunk it would be growing an 1800 pounder! 2010: 1810 Stevens....1725 Sweet....1610 Leiber (what a gorgeous thing!)....1554 Rose....1480 Glasier dmg....1460 Colbert dmg....1421.4 Checkon....1407 Snyder. Add what you know of to the list. Congratulations to Bill Rodonis!!!

1596 Wallace,1521 Werner and 1579 Revier. Really stinks for me because I had 3 to grow and the stink bugs got them all. Yellow vine disease 2 years in a row.

There has been one or two more 1600 range. And many more in 1500 range, we just don't know all the crosses yet.

I'm sure this seed will be going for $800 at the auctions this year. Thanks to Bill for making this awesome seed!

The road to 2000 lbs will cetainly be paved with 1161 genetics. A genetic juggernaut, definition from websters: a massive inexorable force or object that crushes whatever is in its path

The 1610 Leiber is 1156 Rodonis x self right? The 1725 Harp was 1385 Jutras x self.

Maybe a cross of those two would be both good looking and pushing the 2000 mark?

So far as I know it can be a good thing when selfed seeds are then crossed.

My 1161 went down in late august taping 1140#, i had a stump issue and it spread thru the whole plant. i was waiting for this fall to try and trade a seed for another 1161 but i can see thats out of the queastion now, ill have to settle for my 1306 x 1161 cross i made 1189 greene 10 13% heavy, or seeds i made from 1161 x my 1030. Great seed for sure, wish there was an endless supply and everyone could grow an 1161.
