I just wanted to thank evryone who helped me out with seeds, a ton of great info and answering all my newbe questions. My goal was to break the 200 lb mark and went well past that with an official weight of 331 lbs at the weigh off in homer glen,Il.Shazzy im glad i was there to see that MONSTER of a pumpkin that you grew,Congrats again on the NEW state record. Im already getting things ready for next year with soil prep, two small green houses (earlyer start),and a line up of chemicals.Had problems with svb,and pm this year but i have learned what needs to be done to prevent and stop this problem. Can't wait for next year...THANKS AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, from one rookie to another, it was a fun year exchanging posts. Congrats Rybec on the 331. And of course Shazzy on that new Illinois record. I grew up down in Edwardsville Il, so I find that pretty cool.
