OK, since nobody else will jump I will. Who's the 2010 world champ and what's the weight? I'll be boring and unoriginal and say closest guess gets a seed from my biggest pumpkin this year as well as an undisclosed much more valuable seed that grew a "large" pumpkin from this area.
I don't want to hear from people that saw a whopper hanging from an inline scale either...lol. Legit guesses here only.
No guesses after Friday. Tie-breaker is closest to the final Colorado state champ weight. Just to throw in a wrench for those "more educated" growers.
I wish everyone the best of luck during weigh-off season.
Chris

It won't be the Puricelli's out of Missouri, but whomever it is will have a goliath at 1776 lbs or the year this great country was established.

Hi Chris, Is it the closest weight guess that counts to win? Or does the picking the correct grower come into play as well? Anyway, I'll guess 1788 lbs. grown by Mr. Daho out of France.

i wont take a guess chris because id rather seed someone else have a chance to win a in demand seed however, i will go out on a limb and say i would not at all be surprised to see a new world record or a world champion come from a relative unknown grower.
to much information availabe now . anyone who puts the research and work into it has chance. my best to you and everyone .

Since this post started, I have felt the same as what Pap said. If you look back over the years, the big one falls to someone different every year. I got a feeling the biggest this year comes out of Ohio again
