I'm looking to purchase a large pumpkin. I live in Medford, Oregon and I need to find a pumpkin that is a least 300 pounds. Can anyone help?

Go to this page and scroll down to Oregon. These are the weigh offs in Oregon. You should be able to buy one at one of these places. Expect to pay between .50c and $1.00 per pound.

THere is a grower named Bathabitat that is in Williamette Valley Oregon that has several good looking ones growing - you might try e-mailing him by going to his growers diary and clicking on the envelope next to his nickname ( http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=144595 )

Figure since he is in that area even if he isn't interested in selling one he might know someone nearby !

There is an Oregon GPC weigh-off this weekend at Seaside on Saturday September 25th. I bet if you show up you will find the pumpkin you are looking for.
