I would like to thank all the great people on BP for all the help they gave me this year. Because of all your help I was able to complete the year and make it to Bear Wallow.

I am very thankful that I was able to accomplish what I did my first year.....and "Margarida 1039" sounds good.

Thanks again, Karl

Thanks for all the replys and nice meeting eveyone.

I am very happy with 1039 lbs but it sure was a let down when I am last to weigh and the pumpkin goes 9.5% light.

I just wonder how much weight was lost from being off the vine for 25 days. I need better planning and timing next year so I don't have to keep the pumpkin going for 95 days.

Karl, she sure was a beauty and I was so glad to see it in person, thank you for brining it to Kentucky. It was a real pleasure to meet you in person as well. I didn't get a chance to high five you after your pumpkin was weighed, I had something in my eye ;}. I am glad that you won't have to endure season after season chasing a 1,000 pounder like I have, you did it right the first time 9.5% light or not. Awesome job man!

Congrats !, super job.

I had a post up a while ago in general discussion board asking how much they loose if you pick them a month early. From the responses I got, they don't loose very much at all. There are a few people that cut some off early and weighed them, then are suppose to get back to let us know their results after the second weigh in. Tim Pennington is one, and wiz or biz ,(can't remember which one ) is the other.
I will repost for Tim, so he see's it.
