has anyone ever used a food dehrydrator for drying seeds? how long? what temp? etc

I have it works well. Run it at the lowest temp with the seeds on the top rack. Dry until seed film comes off. I usually run it for about 12 hours at a time

I'll give it a trial run with my compost bound 710 lbder!! I have a Cabelas larger one with thermostat and timer. Books recomend by woodstove 80 degrees or more. my lowest setting is 50, but obviously it wont even come on. It reads 69 when I turn it on. I'll try 80 for starters. Thanks
