If anyone is looking for overnight accommodations for the night after the weigh off is complete go to the town of Sanford's web site at sanforddowntown.org then click on pumpkin grower info and you will find 3 motels listed that are providing a discount to pumpkin growers BUT you need to mentioned it on the phone to receive it . The price listed is after the discount I was told . The Oakwood is located close to the middle of town and if you are hauling a trailer parking will be tight . Sanford motel and Super 8 has ample parking with a trailer and are about 3 miles from the weigh off location with the Super 8 located near to Lowes and Wal Mart.
