Biggest one I have seen around my house.
My dad stomped it after it climbed down off the pumpkin but be careful out there working in the garden.

I probably have 100 black and brown widows in my patch lol, since I went organic this year. Good thing they don't bite vwery often!

Very common here too. Probably 25-35% of my commercial pumpkins will have one around handle area at harvest time. Only have seen one in AG patch in 3 years.

I don't reach where I can't see in the patch without an inspection mirror. I have southern black widows rampant, I say they are my patch security. You don't know growin' until you had a half grown one go up your shirtsleeve or your shorts leg and give you a nip!

Get a treatment kit from http://www.brown-recluse.com and it works on all the nasty spider bites. (Black and brown widow and brown recluse)

While cleaning up around the patch, I found one in an old milk crate. First one Ive seen, hope I dont see another!
