I have a stem on one of my pumpkins that drips a clear fluid(looks like water) every morning for about an hour or two then dries up. I cant tell exactly where it is coming from. The stem looks fine. Is this similar to a foaming stump? Do I want to open the stem up? Thank you! Kevin

Kevin, we had our stem ooze. When i cut it off the plant the cavity in the stem was filled with liquid and it gushed out after cutting. I cant tell what you have but a little hole in the underside might drain out any possible build up. Just a thought, good luck.

I had a dripping stem but mine was due to a split.
