El Pare, enjoy reading your post, but I dare not try my written Spanish to answer. What are those long squash in your recent harvest photo that are leaning against the wheelbarrow? Very interesting. Gracias, Miguel

I do not know exactly, but I think it's a "Longe de Nice" or a "Bambina Gigante".But I'm sure it is cucurbita moschata.Let's see what El Pare says.

In Spanish it is called: calabaza de rabaquet o Carbassa de forn.

In Spanish I do not know, in my original language, Catalan, is called rabaquet, this is a giant variety that comes from the Bask Country. It's nice to do soup. In the inside is completely full and only in the bottom it has seeds. This pumpkin will be in our festival in Sant Feliu de Codines the next 26th of September. You can come or if you want seeds from January on I can send you ones.
