During the time when my plants were still growing and even when they were all terminated, I could always see the small roots peaking out of the soil in certain spots, and under all of my walking boards.I would say once my plant growth was terminated or shortly after (mid July-late july), the roots that I saw disapeared.

What happened to all those roots ?

Only thing I can figure is maybe from all the watering my fluffy soil got slighty compacted.Just a guess.

It happens to me too. I don't know why. I think mine may die out because I let the soil surface dry out.
