Because to me different opinions are known to a Proven Seed here now the question since when is a Seed Proven? Is certain lbs number necessarily, for example, in 1000 lbs or less? Are there then differences to AG Seeds and Squashseeds? for example, AG in 1000 lbs and squash already from 800 lbs or so similarly. Or is it enough if the Seed of different growers was planted and does have some more than 500-600 lbs produced?

i consider a proven seed to be one that produces BIG, more than one or two. i also consider shape, final weight over the taped estimate and any visual defects in shape however , the main focus is what the seed produces, pap

I think the term proven is a loose term. Just because one grower grows a monster from a seed doesnt mean that your destined to have the same results. You still gotta put your time in. I believe that to be considered a proven seed you have to show that the seed has been planted by a lot of growers and that the seed has turned up a consistant amount of heavys. I'm a firm believer that there are plenty of monsters capable of being grown that will never be discovered due to the seed not being planted.
