Congratulations to Dale Marshall for setting a new Alaska State record with his beautiful 1102 lb entry at the Alaska State Fairs 2010 Midnight Sun Giant Pumpkin weigh-off Wednesday afternoon in Palmer. After the summer we had up here it is an absolutely an amazing achievement.

Correction, I see the official weight was 1101 lbs in the paper this morning. The weight bounced around between 1101 and 1102, most of my pics showed 1102.
