One. By volume and weight. If its really wet, it will weigh over a ton.

I have an older Nissan small pickup and the bed is 1.5ft. tall - 4 ft. wide and 6.5 ft long so would hold 39 (1.5x4x6.5 = 39) cubic feet or 1.4 cubic yards (27 cubic feet per cubic yard) minus the wheel well indentions - so a little over 1 cubic yard will fit.

Yeah, watch the weight on that. Not sure what the GVW is on your pickup, but nothing makes the day complete quite like a broken axle.
This site has some general guidelines (scroll down the faq's to "how much volume can my pickup hold" and "how much does a yard of product weigh?"), that will give you an idea. Like Chris said, watch the moisture.

Manure varies in weight due to moister content however cow manure is around 60lbs a cubic foot 27 cubic feet in a cubic yard so 60x27= 1620lbs the payload rating on the Nissan is 1262lbs i was able to get 2 yards into my f250 with no complaints what-so-ever
