hows the big moon for a field pumpkin,, i want to try and grow a comp. field pumpkin next year and i have a few of these seeds.thanks treetop

Hi treetop. Big moon will not qualify as a field pumpkin, because it is a Cucurbita maxima type. ( like an Atlantic Giant)

Id say a phat albert type is a good one.

A good place to get a seed to grow a giant field pumpkin would be from the OVGPG , http://ovgpg.com/seedList2010.html

lots of guys try to get the seed from the biggest field pumpkin and grow the seed from it.
