Subject: Will a black light work to find caterpillers ?

I have caterpillars on some plants (not pumpkins)I am using caterpillar killer & garlic barrier ,but i found on computer it said black light will find them , has anyone ever done this with a black light? I just wounder if i could add a black light to arsenal ?

I use a black light to find Hornworms. Give it a try. Never hurt.

does a black light make them glow or something?,, first time I have heard of this?,, wonder if it will help in finding SVB eggs ?

Brooks, I think you're supposed to use a disco ball for SVB's. Give it a try.

It works, but its really hard to get them to remember to carry the lights so you can see them at night....

The stripes on the Hornworm glow under black lights. Just like how they find scorpions at night.
