I ask this question every year about Canfield fair,, Maybe its just me, but the Canfield site really doesnt tell you much about entering a giant pumpkin for their weigh off, or when its being held, I couldn't even find a date,,lol
This is the closest thing I can find about it. http://www.canfieldfair.com/contest_winners.html#awardj

Thanks Doc,,, Is there a time frame the pumpkins have to be registered and at the scales before weigh off,or can you register your pumpkin there?? Even though I dont have much this year I might take one of my pumpkins there for ships and giggles if Im going up to watch these guys weigh in anyway.,, if nothing else just to go up to Bullship with the growers who are weighing in this year.
Any info you can send me on that Doc, I would really appreciate that, [email protected]
I wonder if Glen had a field pumpkin this year that will smash his world record from last year?,, Im betting he comes close the way he grows field pumpkins year after year. I would also like to see see who is going to smash that AG fair record this year also. Im betting you could just see that happen with the big ones we have already been seeing early here in Ohio.
Zappa, could you send me the info (Link) you have on registering?

Doc,So is that when they will be weighed ? ( the 31st) I am assuming they weigh then put them on display for the fair ?
And also, I better ask know , The fruit I want to bring will likely be damaged (dmg)when I peel the silicon off. I would just like to have it weighed on a official scale. Can I get it weighed as dmg ?
Brooks here is the link for registering in case you didn't yet. I think you have until the 23rd. https://www.blueribbonfair.com/BRFairProd/BlueRibbonStart.aspx?ID=2152
I tried to register 2 pumpkins but I am not sure I did it correctly for two.
