I'm starting to get a bulge on top of an old wound that has hardened. Wondering if I should put some lotion or vaseline or something around affected area so I don't have a blowout. I'm very worried about this :-(

Maybe I should just cut it and prevent any issues. I was going to bring it to the Marshfield Fair if it makes it.
