OSU emailed me the formal report today from the sample I sent in to test for YVD it is confirmed. The report says that the sample was positive for Serratia but negative for the marcescens strain. I think this means that the bacterium has mutated into a new species of YVD but I am not 100% on this. If you want to see the report or don't believe me I can email the report to anyone who asks.
