how do u measure a bird bath properly the top of my pumpkin is leaning way over the stem end i know im not getting a proper measurement

The measurement process is the same regardless of the pumpkin orientation. If you tape the circumference of the widest part parallel to the ground and then do the side to side and the end to end over the highest part of the pumpkin, you will be really close to the right mass. It doesn't matter about how sunk in or elongated other parts are... However on severely sunk in fruits, either under the pumpkin or on top of the pumpkin - you tend to go a little heavy on the scales. Unfortunately - this is seldom true with birdbaths because the largest part of the pumpkin is the blossom end - which tends to be thinner...so they tend to weigh pretty close to the charts.
