I was wondering disregarding weather, how long the pumpkin will continue to grow or add weight. Once the fruit is set is it 60?, 70?, 80?, etc. days until the fruit matures? My weather will hold out nice for pumpkin growing until Novemeber, would the fruit that was set in July continue to grow as long as the plant is healthy? Obviously at somepoint the fruit will turn orange and mature just wondered what the average amount of time is.

From what I have read on this site, they can grow up to 90-100 days , with a healthy plant.

I thnnk it is 75 to pollination and 75 after pollination.

Great question, I just pollinated another on Thursday and the temps will finally start to be ideal here in late August. I'd like to get 40 to 50 days out of it.

Smallmouth, That was kind of my idea rather than plant my plant in April like the guys in the North east I thought I would try to grow mine in the more "ideal" weather conditions.

The issue ends up being the length of the day...hours of daylight and how that effects the way the plant matures. In September the days get too short and the nights too long. Growth slows way down regardless of daytime temperatures. The plants have a natural growth cycle that is defined by hours of light. Most plants react the same way. Pot growers change the hours of light artificially to control growth and budding. (not that I have ever met a pot grower or seen an actual pot plant...lol)

At least 90 days fruit growth on a healthy plant with early-mid July pollination unless you live in a harsh environment and don't take measures to protect the plant and fruit.

I have had lots of pumpkins still gaining 5-6 lbs per day at day 90+. Day length defiantly is a factor on how much growth, but day time/ night time temperatures defiantly affect if they keep growing or not. Certainly temperature is a bigger factor here, north of the border as we can get into some real cool nights in late summer and early fall.

I am a big believer in blanketing at night and uncovering in the daytime, once night time temps drop below 10C.

Plant health is another very big issue. If you have done your jib and the plant is very strong, healthy and disease free, you will get a lot more late season growth.

Median weight day is usually around day 38-40, which means your pumpkin should double its weight if you multiply that weight x two. However, that does not mean its don growing by day 80.
