Once you have your pumpkin set and won't be needing any more flowers, is it common or helpful to remove all the male flowers also?

Orange attracts undesirable insects so probably the best reason to do it. Removing all flowers while small would save some energy (I doubt hormones would be redirected) so it really depends on if you're a believer that every little bit counts.

we remove them from the vines as we bury once we know they will no longer be needed on or off its not a great difference but every little bit could count if you get a good one on the hook. overall plant/soil health and vigor is far more important than some growing male flowers though.
