The stump of my pumpkin is splitting, looks like its turning inside out and some leaves are dieing,is this from a vine borer? I've never had a problem with insects or plant deseases.Never seen this before. If it is a borer,is there any thing that can be done? Have a nice pumpkin and would hate to lose it.Any help would be greatly appreciated

If it is from SVBs, all you can maybe do now is surgery on the vine and pick out the grubs, but who nows how far they have traveled down the vines?

Besides that, I cant think of anything.

Where in niagara falls are you from?
