If you search around here you can find some advice on dealing w PM once infected. For instance hand-wiping off spores w hydrogen peroxide. Controlling spread w 40% milk. Biocontrol like serenade or companion not sure how effective once infected and drip into soil might impact soil beneficials. Forget neem. I'm told that is a waste. There have been several threads in last few weeks on pm. Check pests forum.

I have found some pm starting on a few leaves on several of my plants. If it is just a few dots I wipe it off, if it is a bigger area I have been cutting the entire leaf off and very carefully carry it far away from the patch.I have a lot of tertiary growth that I can back fill the leaves that I cut off. I like the idea of having a lot of fresh, new leaves to take me to the end of the season. I have probably replaced 30% of my leaves on my 763 Young plant. I have been cutting a few of the older leaves off every day. They will be the ones to get pm first. Don't let the canopy get too thick or you won't have enough air flow.
You guy's have been getting hammered with the rain out there, so that is not helping any. Best of luck .

I don't know why I keep posting this link, but here goes anyway. Here in NS we have had near record rain as well, 2.5 inches in the last 24 hrs. No PM issues here, 30% milk foliar every ten days or so and all the plants look great. There are organic treatments as well that will work as long as you get it early. After that you will need to nuke it with something a little more nasty.

Milk for Mildew Milk with its' natural enzymes and simple sugar structures can be used to combat various mildews on cucumber, asters, tomato, squash and zinnia foliage. This works by changing the pH on the surface of the leaves, so they are less susceptible to mildew. Use a 50/50 mixture of milk and water. Thoroughly spray plants every 3 to 4 days at first sign of mildews or use weekly as a preventative measure.

Green Cure is an organic fungicide used to prevent Powdery Mildew. Actinovate sprayed foliar is another organic bio-fungicide, very effective as a foliar and a drench for soil born diseases. Fung-onil is a traditional fungicide and Infuse is a system fungicide. Get something going now before it is too late. Tom www.extremepumpkinstore.com

I got a pretty bad outbreak last year with PM. The milk solution stopped it dead in its tracks and kept it from coming back. I sprayed every 4 days with a 50/50 mixture of lowfat milk.
