Around 300 OTT but don't let people sand bag you. Depends on where you are growing and when you pollinated. There are some folks 350-400 already...lets hope they can keep them together for the weighoffs...

180" is good. I wouldn't worry too much about what others have. Just grow the biggest pumpkin you can grow and be happy with it in the end. If that turns out to be the new WR or if it doesn't get you a Top 10 at the WO, either way don't leave anything on the table and just get the best you can out of your patch.

It seems nearly everyone I talk to is putting up new PB numbers for every measurement this season. Many growers are near or over 1000 est lbs by the first of August. Normally that would be crazy huge, this year seems to be far from normal however and 800+ lbs seems to be normal. It should be very interesting at the WO's this year. 2010 is shaping up to be one for the ages in giant pumpkin growing.

197" @ day 30 but looks like she is turning into a modified wheel. Not too bad concidering the planting site is the tilled up the back yard lawn of our crumby rental...

PS Just put an offer on a new home with 2 acres of smoking hot X-Farm land in Rochester (private well & septic). If they accept the offer the 909 will become compost at the Silver Springs compost facility!
