I found out the aniversary for this here Bigpumpkins is 10-8-1999. Would'nt it apropriate to have a weigh-off someday named the Bigpumpkin weigh-off, the la la palooza of wiegh-offs, the grand daddy of them all??? or something to celebrate the aniversary date of Bigpumpkins. Any ideas to kick around for the future, 10-8-99 is at weigh-off time. I think I owe pretty much everything I know about growing a giant pumpkin to the Bigpumpkins web site.

Thats about the time of the Freriches Farm weighoff. I think that a weighoff for the sight would be great. I like many others have gotten a lot of helpful tips from so many growers. The friends Ive met are awesome and I love being around all of them. All thanks to this sight.

Well we bought a banner to display this year at both our weighoffs! Paying to advertise :) That's one way to show our thanks. Another is to get a premium membership. That $ helps Ken keep the site going, I'm proud to have given to the cause.
